It’s not every day you get the opportunity to photograph a wedding in such an amazing location as Athol Hall, on Bradleys Head in Sydney, overlooking Sydney Harbour. The real amazing part of this wedding though was not the incredible location, it was the incredible people. I’ve know Tom for a few years, since we were both at uni, but I hadn’t seen him in a few years, and I had never met Jodie until I arrived in Sydney.
I always love photographing weddings, but this one was really special, as I got to spend a bit more time in the run up to the wedding getting to know both Jodie and Tom’s families, and spending time with Jodie and Tom, and their friends. This was definitely one of those weddings where I have come away the better for having photographed it, and have made new friends, who I hope I can see again sometime!
Jodie and Tom had a really lovely, fun, sweet wedding with their closest friends and family in Petersham, before their reception and party in the beautiful Athol Hall, on Bradleys Head near Mosman, in North Sydney. The venue is perched overlooking Sydney Harbour, and is without a doubt one of the most stunning venues I have ever been fortunate to photograph. Just have a look at the photos below!
